The Tirumala Tirupati Devasthanams (TTD), the esteemed governing body of the temple, has put forth a significant proposal to the Union Civil Aviation Ministry: to rename the Renigunta airport as ‘Sri Venkateswara International Airport’.
This isn’t just about a name change; it’s part of a broader vision to infuse the very gateway to Tirumala with the spiritual essence of the revered temple.
